Thanks for dropping by my blog! My experiences have been similar to yours although I was never required to do internships. I’ve done everything from an unpaid internship doing web design for a small consulting company to a nicely paid internship with a video game company. It’s great to have real world experience to talk about when you get a job interview. In fact I just heard back from a company I interviewed with last week, and I got a job offer!

So the bank I use is Ing Direct. I have two accounts with them one is a checking and one is a savings. The cool thing with that account is that you can setup direct deposit into the checking and instantly send money over to your saving account. You do not need to wait forever kine for your money to be placed in your account. Also, if you need to send a check to someone, you can do it online…by filling out the info they ask and then they will mail the check to that person. Neat I tell you. Also you have a higher interest rate so then you make more money so the more money you make the more faster you can retire. YEY! I plan to retire next year. lol.
